"Words cannot do true justice to a nose like this with its strong citrus, limestone and gorgeously elegant green fruit aromas that beautifully complement pure, silky and wonderfully focused medium full flavors that are so precise that this cuts like a knife through hot butter. As intense and mineral-driven as this is though, there are no hard edges and while there is an impressive acid backbone, the balance is absolutely above reproach. A genuinely great Chevalier and perhaps the best one Boudot has ever made; it certainly rivals both the '99 and the '00, both of which are also great efforts." (96 pts.
