"A generous dollop of wood presently fights somewhat with the overtly exotic aromas of dried yellow orchard fruit, mango and nectarine scents. Despite the ripeness telegraphed by the nose the palate impression is quite vibrant with good underlying tension to the equally big-bodied flavors that possess a very clean mouth feel on the markedly dry finish that exhibits moderate youthful austerity. This too will need a few years of cellaring before it can realize its full potential." (91-94 pts. Allen Meadows, Burghound #55, June 2014)
