"There is enough reduction to push the underlying fruit to the background at present yet the nose still manages to be interesting. Otherwise there excellent richness and serious size, weight and muscle to the broad-shouldered flavors that possess exceptionally good mid-palate concentration that buffers the moderately firm acid spine on the explosively long and palate staining finish. This possesses good energy in the context of the vintage and despite the already creamy texture, this should continue to age gracefully for up to another decade in magnum format.
