"This remains wonderfully fresh with the trademark mint/menthol character that seems to be present with so many Ramonet wines. There is also ample spice with good ripeness levels but none of the slight tired aromas that some '99s are now displaying, followed by dense, concentrated, opulent flavors that are beautifully textured. There is real volume here and this is quite masculine in style with superb persistence. For my taste, this has now peaked though it should hold at this level for another decade and may last longer because as noted, this is still very fresh and vibrant. In a word, terrific.
