"The 2009 Vosne-Romanée Clos du Château clearly has more fruit concentration on the nose compared to the 2007 and 2008: sensual red cherries mixed with raspberry and orange blossom. I like how seamlessly the oak is integrated here. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin and a crisp line of acidity. This is the oldest vintage that feels as if it could benefit from more bottle age. This is very fine." (91 pts. Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, July 2015)
