" (with thanks to Dr. Kevin Chan). A cool, spicy and notably floral suffused nose is still largely primary in character. The beautifully well-detailed and intensely mineral-driven middle weight flavors possess lovely depth on the moderately long finish that displays just a touch of asperity that is just enough to detract from the overall sense of harmony. In sum this is pretty if not perfectly well-balanced and while it certainly could be enjoyed now I would be inclined to hold it for a few more years first as I suspect that the asperity will diminish over time."
