"Deep ruby though there is now some lightening at the rim. An attractively complex nose of secondary fruit aromas, spice, earth and tea is followed by dense and impressively rich flavors that finish with a velvety mouth feel and outstanding persistence. This is very Vosne in character and for my taste has finally arrived at its peak as it is drinking perfectly now; indeed it should continue to do so for many years to come because while the nose and flavors are mature there is still lovely vibrancy.
