Clos des 60 Ouvrees, Pousse d'Or
"Not surprisingly, like the wine in magnum format, a gorgeously perfumed nose that is now fully mature (though with no sous bois) merges into intense, sweet and wonderously complex flavors that culminate in a long, pure, velvety and mouth coating finish. However, unlike the magnum the last time that I had it, the '85 Soixante Ouvrées has reached its maturity in this format and a classy, pure and lovely drinking experience it is too. Note that while this is fully mature, there is absolutely no rush to drink up and it should last another decade plus at this level if well stored." (92pts Allen Meadows, Burghound, July 2008)
