"I have had mixed experiences with this wine but the most recent bottle was absolutely exquisite with a stunning nose of remarkable complexity with every spice imaginable and this is aromatically utterly seductive and is followed by sexy, round, intense, precise flavors of suberp complexity if perhaps a bit less density than the very best of the Leroy '91s. This most recent bottle towers over prior examples and I'm not sure why as most of the bottles that I have tried have been courtesy of Mr. Khouri. The "lesser" bottles have merited ratings in the 91 to 92 point range yet as this bottle proved, when the '91 RSV is right, it's brilliant." (95pts Allen Meadows, Burghound, Sept 2009)
