The Kallisti Collection, Part II, A Return to One of Our Most Iconic Modern Cellars: Every bottle in this offering has been professionally stored in a state-of-the-art, temperature-controlled Tribeca cellar.
“A well-layered nose offers up a variety of spice and herbal tea notes, including anise, clove, cinnamon and soy on the mostly red berry fruit aromas that display only a hint of secondary character. There is a lovely sense of purity to the sleekly muscled flavors that possess real drive, indeed this does a slow but sure build from the mid-palate on through the explosive and tangy finish. This is not particularly dense but it is a wine of harmony, balance, power and fine length. To my taste this has largely reached its apogee though it should easily hold for at least another decade.
