    Nuits St. Georges 2014
    Au Chouillet, Vieilles Vignes, Lecheneaut
    Bottle (12)

"This is aromatically more elegant with its ripe and airy nose of various red berries, plum and dark currant scents that are liberally laced with earth nuances. Consistent with the nose the middle weight flavors are more refined thanks mainly to the finer grain of the supporting tannins that appear on the intense, firm, linear and again very serious finale. This is also a very impressive Nuits villages and worth considering." (89-92 pts. Allen Meadows, Burghound #61, Jan. 2016)

"Reserved, yet broad and dense, this hints at black cherry and black currant flavors, with earth and spice accents. Tightens up on the finish, where spice notes linger." (91 pts. Bruce Sanderson, Wine Spectator, Oct. 2017)

    Estimate: $475 - $600.
