DescriptionNuits St. Georges 2013
Les Pruliers, Lecheneaut
"This is almost always Lécheneaut's best 1er and so it is again in 2013. Like the Damodes this is notably gamy with its very fresh nose of assorted red berries, iron-inflected earth and dried herbs. There is good volume and punch to the very rich medium weight plus flavors that culminate in a robust but not really rustic finish that delivers outstanding persistence. This should be approachable after only 6 to 8 years but reward 12 or more." (91-93 pts. Allen Meadows, Burghound #57, Jan. 2015)
