"Still a deep ruby color. This too is quite floral on the ripe black fruit nose that is nuanced by unbelievably complex spice notes of anise, clove, leather and tea. The big, powerful and sleekly muscled flavors are beautifully concentrated and this is currently a bruiser of a Musigny with its robust but not inelegant tannins seamlessly merging into a hugely long and palate staining finish. This is one of those wines that has real presence and that extra dimension of true greatness that will age for decades.
