"The highly perfumed nose that is just beginning to turn toward having a secondary character offers magnificently spicy and smoky fruit of positively transcendent complexity with big-bodied and impressively dense flavors of barely contained power and layers upon layers of concentrated earthy essence, all wrapped in a driving, focused and mouth coating finish that is hugely long if still a bit linear. This is simply awe-inspiring and there is no doubting the sublime magnificence this wine delivers. In sum, this is absolutely compelling in every respect and a complete Musigny." (98 pts.
