" While it manages to avoid being pruney, this is the ripest wine to this point with saturated aromas of bitter chocolate, anise, game, smoke and ripe plums that reveal supple yet forceful, amazingly concentrated, opulent flavors that deliver simply amazing intensity. This is not an elegant wine but it's impressive by sheer force of power and palate impact and will best please those who like big and robust but not necessarily highly extracted burgs.
