Description

    Clos St. Denis 1976
    Dujac
3cm, bsl, torn and partially missing label
    Bottle (1)

"Jacques Seysses has always been known for fashioning very good to even excellent wine in tough vintages and this is no exception because while the nose has gone entirely secondary at this point, unlike most of the other wines in the flight, there is no sous bois or tertiary aromas present. The round and relatively powerful flavors are nicely sweet and quite complex with more power than Clos St. Denis typically displays at 30 years of age and the only nit here is that the finish comes up a bit short. Otherwise, this is in fine condition and drinking well." (89 pts. Allen Meadows, Burghound #24, Oct. 2006)

    Estimate: $600 - $800.
