"Tasted from magnum straight for the cellar of one Robert Parker. The ’03 Clos-de-la-Roche has a beautifully defined bouquet with the mineralite managing to break the surface of layer upon layer of dark cherry, mulberry, black olive and rose petal aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with fine definition, rich and opulent, leading to a 'vitamin' finish, as if all the flavour has been distilled down to a minute entity that reminds me of some of Perrot-Minot’s 08s.
