"Superbly rich and complex fruit that explodes from the glass with elegant and stunning purity followed by deep, spicy, velvety, intense flavors that are both harmonious and gloriously long. It's hard to fathom how such a rich wine can also be a thing of delicacy as the is an airy quality to both the nose and flavors and the finish just goes on and on. Most impressive and this will age for a long time though it is so seductive and sexy now that if you're lucky enough to own the '96 Amoureuses, it would be awfully difficult to leave it alone.
