"The 1997 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Poggio all’Oro shows abundance and opulence with bold density and fine aromas of dark fruit, tar and licorice. The wine continues to hold it own and the only significant critique I can make is that there is a slight bitterness to the tannin that has yet to integrate.
