Light strawberry-juice color, still hinting at old burgundy funk, but also has dust and maraschino cherry. Very interesting syrupy crème de cassis palate with a little more alcohol - more port-like than other wines in the flight. Finish falls a touch flat but the wine is deep enough and pleasing enough to be highly enjoyable. (92-94pts FCM)
