"The 2000 Viñedo Chadwick is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from Puente Alto, Maipo, and was aged for 18 months in French barrels. From a fairly cool, slow-ripening year, this is a wine of nuanced character. Dark, garnet red in the glass. The nose presents ripe fruit notes, orange peel and hints of liqueur followed by rose and a whiff of licorice. Sugary with intense flavor, the still grippy tannins maintain the firm structure and enhance the layer of herbal notes before the development of licorice and gianduja aromas toward the end." (95 pts.
