The Urlik Cellar. A well-curated parcel from a Los Angeles collector. Wines were purchased on release and stored in a professional wine facility.
"The Belle Côte vineyard, adjacent to La Carrière, sits at a high elevation of 1,400-1,700 feet on steep slopes with thicker soils and an east-facing exposure. This site produces some of the most opulent and decadent of the Peter Michael Chardonnays. The 2013 Chardonnay Belle Côte possesses terrific notes of marzipan, tropical pineapples, Mandarin oranges and nectarines, along with great intensity, lots of minerality, and a pronounced exotic style."
