    Description

    Aubert Vineyards Chardonnay 2008
    Reuling Vineyard
    Bottle (1)

"One of my favorite Aubert offerings that typically has a Montrachet-like character emerges from the Reuling Vineyard. Made from a suitcase clone from Burgundy’s most famous vineyard, it is an extraordinary effort. Readers looking for staggering levels of minerality and depth of flavor should check out this Chardonnay. The 2008 Chardonnay Reuling Vineyard offers aromas of crushed rocks, damp soil, honeysuckle, brioche, lemon oil, orange marmalade and buttered citrus. This compelling Chardonnay is full-bodied with great intensity, good acidity and stunning perfume as well as length. It should drink well for 7-8 years." (99 pts. Robert Parker, Wine Advocate #193, Feb. 2011)

    Estimate: $85 - $115.
