Description

Stag's Leap Wine Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon 2014
Fay Vineyard
Magnum (6)

Direct from the library of Stag's Leap Wine Cellars. These wines have been at the winery since birth, under precise temperature and humidity-control.

"...the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Fay Estate-Grown, this has a similar saturated purple color, terrific presence on the palate, great ripeness, loads of minerality, floral notes and beautifully pure blackcurrant liqueur intermixed with licorice and spice. It is full-bodied and rich with well-integrated tannin and wood. This is another 20- to 25-year wine, but should drink well after its release." (92-95 pts. Robert Parker, Wine Advocate #228, Jan. 2017)

"The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Fay is sumptuous, creamy and exceptionally polished. Bright red-toned fruit, expressive perfume and silky tannins give Fay its sensual, inviting personality." (91-94 pts. Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Jan. 2017)

"Pure, rich and graceful, offering a mix of elegant dark berry, loamy earth, graphite, cedar and currant notes, with the fruit flavors gaining depth and dimension on the long, persistent finish." (92 pts. James Laube, Wine Spectator, Nov. 2018)
