“The 2011 Asterisk is a drop-dead gorgeous wine, especially for a year that was so challenging. Freshly cut flowers, mint, super-ripe red berries and crushed rocks are totally alive in the glass in a wine that stands out for its energy, vibrancy and delineation. Fine grained tannins support the polished, impeccable finish. The 2011 Asterisk is a bit medium in body by Sloan standards, but it is notable for its balance and class.
