THE NETWORK’S CELLAR We are locked into an NDA from disclosing whom this cellar belongs, but make no mistake, we guarantee you have seen their work. While creating lasting art for the small screen our consignor was simultaneously collecting vinous art from some of finest wineries on the planet—and in large quantities. There are far too many highlights to list, but a quick snapshot includes numerous OWC of Harlan, Colgin, Insignia, Ridge, Mouton, etc. Wines have been untouched and stored professionally in Los Angeles for over a decade. A flawless collection. Bid with utmost confidence.

"The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Select (about 2,000 cases produced) is another one of those “wow” wines, but it does it with a sort of measured richness and restraint and extraordinary subtle character, like the Gary Cooper of Napa Cabernet Sauvignons – authentic, tall, straight-boned, but substantial and worthy of introspection. Inky purple, with a classic nose of creme de cassis, licorice, a touch of vanilla and forest floor, the wine hits the palate with a gorgeous display of measured, but substantial fruit, body and intensity. Not a component is out of place, and the wine remarkably pure and persuasive. Combine great winemaking with great viticulture and a special terroir, and this is the result. Readers are in the presence of genius when tasting this wine." (99 pts. Robert Parker, Wine Advocate #219, June 2015)

"The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Select continues to put on weight, and displays a Bordeaux-like personality because of the vintage’s cool growing season. A black purple color, stunningly sweet fruit, and a gorgeous bouquet of underbrush, forest floor, creme de cassis, lead pencil shavings, and toasty barrique are found in this ripe, full-bodied, deep, stunningly well-balanced, substantial wine with undeniable complexity as well as richness." (97 pts. Robert Parker, Wine Advocate #180, Dec. 2008)
