Wines from the Kinship Collection. All wines purchased from the most reputable retailers in the United States and stored meticulously in a purpose-built underground cellar with redundant temperature and humidity control

"Having performed spectacularly well last year in the retrospective of ten-year old Napa Cabernets, this 2001 remains incredibly young, with all of its potential waiting to burst forth. Its dense purple color is followed by notes of mulberries, creme de cassis, blackberries, licorice, graphite and subtle smoke. The wine reveals fabulous fruit along with full-bodied power and a seamless integration of acidity, tannin, alcohol and wood." (98 pts. Robert Parker, Wine Advocate, June 2012)

“Medium garnet colored, the 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon Kayli Morgan Vineyard leaps from the glass with bold notes of crushed black cherries with raspberry sparks over a core of blackcurrant cordial, chocolate box, licorice and Chinese five spice with hints of iron ore and tilled black soil. Full-bodied, rich and super concentrated, the palate delivers layer upon layer of red and black fruit preserves flavors, framed by lovely finely grained tannins and great freshness, finishing long and minerally.” (97 pts. Lisa Perrotti-Brown, Wine Advocate, Dec. 2018)

“Good dark red. A bit darker on the nose than the 2000, showing noteworthy complexity to the aromas of plum, graphite and truffle. Wonderfully creamy flavors of redcurrant, spices and flowers are framed by vibrant acidity. The lovely aromatic finish shows a broad, firm dusting of tannins, a captivating light touch and excellent length and lift. This is ultimately a bit more developed and expressive on the nose than the 2000 but has the energy to hold well.” (94 pts. Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, March 2016)
