    "Considerably shyer and more discreet than the ecstatic rosé of the same vintage. Initially just a youthfully floral, tranquil nose that merges into expressive grape ripeness and buttery complexity. Perfectly balanced, purebred finesse on the palate, with crystal-clear aromas and a lively development and taste transformation in the mouth. An extremely femininely composed, classic Cristal, with handsome aromas of liquorice, vanilla, apples, and butter toffee—and a fabulous finish." (92 pts. Richard Juhlin, Aug. 2007)

    "The 1995 Cristal (Late Disgorged) is fascinating to taste, as it is quite different in style from the original release. Because of the extra three years or so on the lees, the 1995 Cristal (Late Disgorged) has picked up a reductive note that is not typical of Cristal. Scents of lime, crushed rock, lemon and slate gradually open up in the glass. The 1995 remains taut and chiseled, with crystalline purity and exceptional overall balance. The wine feels wonderfully alive as it tempts all of the senses with its compelling personality. This is a superb showing from Roederer." (96 pts. Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Jul. 2015)
