    Tokay 1944
    South Coast, Massandra
    Bottle (6)
Amber color. The most balanced proportions of herbal tea, raisiny peach flavor and cotton candy-like sweetness. The palate explodes with ripe peach, dried apricot and then an endlessly delineated run of Asian spices and tea. This is delicious stuff and well held in balance by fresh and ample but integrated spirit. The finish is mostly exotic fruit, pineapple notes and glycerin, making the overall impression very, very sweet without quite being over the top. (92pts FCM)
