"It had been a few years since I last had this but while it is maturing it still isn't quite at its apogee. The expressive and beautifully elegant nose of spice, dried flowers, earth and sandalwood retains a lovely freshness. This freshness can also be found on the vibrant, intense, delineated and mineral-driven middle weight plus flavors that terminate in a complex and strikingly persistent finish. While there is still some firmness to the supporting tannins this feels as though it has just about arrived at its peak though it should be capable of holding at this level for many years to come.
