The Cellar Beneath, Part II: . As with the first release, all wines have been stored in a custom-built, temperature-controlled cellar hidden within the collector’s home.

“The 2009 Haut-Marbuzet offers vivacious crushed strawberry, cranberry and freshly tilled soil aromas. This Haut-Marbuzet is full of vim and vigor after a decade. The palate is very well balanced with sappy red berry fruit, veins of blueberry with well integrated oak that lends a smooth sheen towards the finish. This is a lovely 2009 that should offer another 15 to 20 years of pleasure. Excellent.” (93 pts. Neal Martin, Vinous, Feb. 2019)
