"The 2016 M By Michael Mondavi is blended of 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Cabernet Franc, 5% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot and 2% Malbec. Deep garnet-purple in color, the nose is a little closed to begin and then, with coaxing, offers notions of stewed plums, dried mulberries, kirsch and bouquet garni with touches of tobacco leaf and underbrush. Medium to full-bodied, the palate delivers plenty of plum preserves and earthy layers with a firm, chewy texture and a mineral and earth lift on the finish." (94+ pts.
