Wonderfully fragrant, full yet soft petrol-infused fruit with big, rich, deep, beautifully complex flavors that deliver better than average cut for a '97 and quality length. This has tightened up considerably since release and offers much better delineation and acid/fruit balance than it did when young and while it can be drunk now with pleasure, it has reached its majority. While there is no rush to drink up, neither is there any reason to delay either as this is as good as it will ever be now. Multiple, and consistent notes." (91 pts.
