A short and stout consignment from a Relais and Chateaux Inn on Lake Michigan. These bottles were only listed on the "Reserve List" which in the owner would only offer to serious wine customers. One can see why immediately. Bottles stored in the below ground wine cellar at the estate.
"Wonderful aromatics of Vosne spice, black fruit and hints of earth and violets followed by rich, velvety flavors of stunning complexity and exceptional length. This has finally started to open and shows even more promise now than it did before as the hardness of the tannins is melting, revealing classic RSV qualities." (93 pts.
