Description

Barbaresco 1997
Sori Tildin, Gaja
Bottle (5)

The Incredible Cellar of a Distinguished New Englander. Virtually all wines purchased on release through natural distribution channels and stored in an underground temperature and humidity-controlled cellar.

"Sori Tildin is a totally different wine, it is more delicate, almost Burgundian, with a very aromatic nose of flowers, spices, and mint followed by intense flavors of cherries in liqueur and a superb, caressing finish that seems to never end. With air, the wine shows the unmistakable aroma of truffles. My favorite of the three wines, I found the 97 Sori Tildin to be truly profound." (97pts Antonio Galloni, Wine Advocate In the Cellar #G1, Dec 2004)
