The White Collection. Property of a Los Angeles area lady. All wines purchased by her late husband at Sotheby's and stored underground in a chilly temperature and humidity controlled purpose-built cellar.
"This is quite ripe and impressively complex with mostly mature fruit aromas that stop just short of being stewed that combine with rich, supple and mouth coating flavors underpinned by an admirably long and still firm though not aggressive finish. Unlike many '90s at this stage of their evolution, the tannins are still well-integrated with the flavors and attractively sweet finish. A solid if not sensational effort." (90 pts.
