Description

Clos St. Denis 1993
Domaine Dujac
Bottle (1)

There are simply too many legends to list here. The collection has lived in one location its entire life and has barely seen the light of day until now. Stored at the collectors deeply dug, ice-cold, temperature controlled wine cellar.

"It had been some years since the last time that I had the pleasure of making this wine's acquaintance and even happier to see that it has developed beautifully with notes of spice and dried flowers add nuance to the aromas that are mostly composed of sous bois. There is excellent complexity to the rich, round and utterly delicious medium-bodied flavors that display slight traces of stems and a hint of acidity. Otherwise, this is actually quite harmonious and while it has arrived at its peak it should hold here for years to come. I should note that this is not a big wine even by the standards of the vintage and is really quite fine. Tasted twice this year woth [sic] consistent notes." (92 pts. Allen Meadows, Burghound, Oct. 2013)
