This high-altitude site, with its sandy and rocky soils, yields a perfumed, aromatically expressive Chianti Classico endowed with translucent finesse and energy. Rose petal, lavender, mint and sweet red cherry are nicely pushed forward, but it is the wine's gracious, perfumed personality that stands out most. The 2014 is all finesse." (91 pts.
